Privacy Policy

This is an earlier version of this document and is no longer in force. The current one is here.

Version 1.2 · 28 September 2026

This policy explains what data LogicGlow, the app for iPhone and iPad, processes, and what data this website processes. It's written to be read in full.

1. Data controller

  • Controller: Joan Cama Ribot
  • Trade name: Somia Digital
  • Tax ID: 41531670H
  • Address: Carrer de Sant Joan, 16, 17200 Palafrugell (Girona), Spain
  • Contact email: hola@somiadigital.com

A. The app

2. What you play is stored on your phone

LogicGlow is a local-first app. Your games, streak, milestones, report and test results are stored in your phone's database. No account is needed to use the whole app, Premium included. Only what the following sections describe ever leaves the phone, and each item exists to make one specific feature work.

3. The optional account: Sign in with Apple

You can open an account for one thing only: so your progress isn't lost if you change phone or reinstall the app. The only sign-in method is Sign in with Apple. We don't store any password and, if you choose to, Apple gives us a relay address instead of yours.

What is stored on the server: a single row per account, with the identifier Apple gives us, the email Apple gives us (it may be the relay address) and your progress. Your progress includes your games with their scores, daily paths, test results (personal-style ones included), your first name if you've set one, your age group, your favorites and your two answers from the welcome screens.

Your session is stored in the device's keychain, on this device only, and is not included in backups. If you sign in with another account on a device that already has progress, the app asks you before merging it.

Provider: Supabase, with servers in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland, European Union). Legal basis: performance of the service you request when opening the account (Article 6.1.b GDPR).

4. Anonymous game data

To build the age-group comparison, individual games leave the phone: the game, the level, the score, the accuracy, the average response time, the language, the app version, your age group (only if you've chosen one) and a random installation identifier, generated on the phone, used to discard duplicates. The time of play doesn't travel (the server sets the date), nor does your age, your name, any account, Apple or hardware identifier, or anything you've written.

These games travel without your session: the server can't link them to your account. They are stored with Supabase (eu-west-1, Ireland) for as long as LogicGlow is in service; the comparison only uses those from the last 90 days. Legal basis: the legitimate interest of running the comparison (Article 6.1.f GDPR). If you object, write to hola@somiadigital.com.

5. Analytics

The app counts usage events through PostHog (EU Cloud, Frankfurt, Germany, European Union). The list is closed: onboarding finished, daily path completed, perfect path, game played, streak shield used, paywall seen and paywall converted, plus the app lifecycle events (installed, updated, opened and backgrounded).

We add only two properties of our own: the game's internal identifier and the paywall reason (limit or postworkout). The PostHog SDK adds, by default, the phone's model and operating system, the app version, the language, the time zone and a random installation identifier. IP geolocation is switched off. Never scores, never content, never user text, never your name or email.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the app get used (Article 6.1.f GDPR). The app has no switch to turn it off: if you object, write to hola@somiadigital.com.

6. The subscription

LogicGlow Premium is a monthly subscription managed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription status (active, trialing, expired) is checked with RevenueCat (United States), which receives an anonymous identifier generated by its SDK and the status of your purchases. Never your name or email. LogicGlow never sees or processes any payment data: no cards, no addresses, no invoices. Apple handles this, under its own privacy policy.

7. Notifications

Reminders and the Sunday report are scheduled by the phone itself.

In addition, if you've allowed notifications, we store the code Apple assigns to your device (the "token"), with the random installation identifier, the platform, the language, the app version and the Apple environment. It is used only to send general LogicGlow announcements, never third-party advertising. It isn't linked to your account or to any game. Announcements are delivered through Apple's notification service (APNs). The code is stored with Supabase (eu-west-1, Ireland) until it stops being valid or you turn notifications off.

You can turn them off in the Profile in LogicGlow or in iOS Settings. Legal basis: your consent when allowing notifications (Article 6.1.a GDPR).

8. In-app announcements

The app downloads published LogicGlow announcements (text and image). Which ones you've seen is stored on the phone only, and no data about you is sent.

9. Game Center (optional)

If you're signed in to Game Center, the app sends it three leaderboards (best streak, days with the goal met and trivia answers right) and eighteen achievements. Never the LogicGlow Score. Apple manages this, under its own privacy policy. Without Game Center, the app works just the same.

10. Apple Intelligence

"Last week, in words" is written by the Apple Intelligence model on the device itself (iOS 26 or later). The model only receives the week's counts, never any text of yours. Nothing leaves the phone, and no server of ours or of any third party is involved.

11. App updates

The app asks our update server, on Cloudflare, whether a new update is available. That request carries the IP address and the app version. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the app up to date (Article 6.1.f GDPR).

12. The app doesn't use cookies

No cookies, no IDFA, no cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking technology.

B. This website

13. The support form

If you write through the form, we process your email and your message to reply to you, and nothing else. We don't ask for name or phone number. We keep them while the conversation is open and, at most, twelve months after the last message. The form is received by Netlify, the website's hosting provider, as data processor, and forwarded to us by email. Legal basis: your consent when checking the box (Article 6.1.a GDPR).

14. Technical logs

The website's hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested page and time) for the security and availability of the service, under legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR), and deletes them after a short period.

15. Website cookies

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits, and ONLY if you accept it in the cookie notice: until you do, nothing from Google is loaded and no measurement cookie is set. The IP address is anonymised, and you can change your choice whenever you like. The details, cookie by cookie, are in the cookie policy.

16. Who receives data, where and for how long

These providers don't use the data for any purpose of their own: they work for us, as data processors. Those outside the European Economic Area are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

For anyone using LogicGlow from South Korea there is a privacy policy in Korean.

17. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data by writing to hola@somiadigital.com. If you believe we haven't handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).

18. How to delete your account

Inside the app you can delete your account: the server row with your progress is removed, and no copy remains. What's on the phone goes when you uninstall the app. The anonymous comparison games can't be linked to your account, so they aren't deleted with it.

19. Minors

We do not knowingly process data from anyone under 16. If we learn we hold any, we erase it. The app never asks for your age: only an age group.

20. Security

Everything that leaves the phone travels encrypted (TLS). The account, the anonymous games and the notification code are stored with Supabase (eu-west-1 region, Ireland, European Union) with restricted access.

21. LogicGlow isn't a medical device

LogicGlow measures your performance on some game tasks and returns it as a number and a trend. It isn't a medical tool, it isn't a medical device, it does not diagnose anything and it promises no improvement. The data it processes isn't health data.

22. Changes to this policy

If it changes, the version and date above change, and we publish it here; the app links to it. Changes affecting what we do with your data will be notified before they take effect.
